Privacy policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
Third Bay Marketing is an assumed business name (DBA) of Boas Digital Solutions LLC ("we," "us"), based in Auburn, California. This policy covers thirdbaymarketing.com and the audit request form on it. It explains what we collect, why, who else touches it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- What you type into the audit request form: your name, shop name, phone number, email address, number of bays, and the best time to call.
- How you found us, sent only with a form submit: the site that referred you, the first page you landed on, and any campaign tags in that link (the utm_ values an ad or email adds).
- Your IP address, which our server sees with every request. We use it to limit how many forms one address can send, and hold it in memory for about ten minutes for that purpose.
- The result of an automated check that the form is being filled in by a person, described under "Cookies and tracking."
- Ordinary server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, and times) kept by our hosting setup for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising pixels, or remarketing tags.
To credit the right source if you request an audit, your browser keeps a small record of how you arrived (the referrer, landing page, and campaign tags) in its local storage. It stays on your device, and it reaches us only if you submit the form. Clearing your browser data deletes it.
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads. Google's privacy policy covers what it does with that.
To keep bots off the audit form, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads only once you start filling in the form, and it sends Cloudflare your IP address and information about your browser and device so Cloudflare can tell a person from a bot. Most of the time you won't see it; now and then it may ask you to click a box. We use the result only to accept or turn away the form. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers what it does with that information.
Because we do no cross-site tracking, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. If we add analytics or advertising tags, we will update this policy first and honor those signals.
How we use it
- To call or email you about the audit you asked for, at the time you picked.
- To prepare the audit and any proposal that follows.
- To see which of our own ads and pages bring in requests, so we spend our marketing budget well.
- To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse, including screening requests that look like sales pitches rather than a shop asking for an audit.
- To meet legal obligations.
We don't add you to a marketing list because you requested an audit.
Text messages
If you check the box on the form, you agree that we can call, text, or email you about that request. We won't send marketing texts on that basis.
Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Who else handles it
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. These parties handle it on our behalf, only to run the services below:
- Boas Digital Solutions LLC's client management system, where audit requests are stored and worked. Third Bay Marketing and Boas Digital Solutions are the same company.
- Postmark, which delivers the email that tells us a request came in.
- Cloudflare, which runs the bot check on the audit form, as described above.
- Our hosting and database providers, which store and serve the site and its data.
- Google, for fonts, as described above.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
Third Bay Media, our sister studio, is a separate business. We don't share your information with it.
How long we keep it
We keep audit requests for as long as we're talking with you or working together, and after that for as long as we need them for our records or the law requires. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we're required to keep it.
If a form submission fails to save, its details may sit in our server logs so we can still call you back. We don't keep those logs longer than we need them.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email or call us at [email protected] or (704) 727-8220. We may need to confirm it's you before we act on a request, and we won't treat you differently for making one. You can also name an authorized agent to make a request for you.
Some states give their residents these rights by law. California residents, for example, have them under the California Consumer Privacy Act, along with the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do neither, and we offer the same rights to everyone.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections to this site, to protect what you send us. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong.
Children
This site is for business owners. It isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change affects information we already hold in a significant way, we will tell you before it applies.
